“Nothing shown in this video is finished. It’s still very early. A lot of networking / ‘under the hood’ type stuff has been worked on in the past couple of months. We just got custom armor colors in. You’ll be able to change two colors on each armor piece instead of one, plus we plan to have custom user-made skins available for both armor and weapons. We should have something for you to play on PC this summer!” -JForceGames
Behold, the second Sneak Peek for Murder Miners X is here! Sneak Peek 2 shows us a bunch of new things from armor to wind. Let’s jump right into what we can assume so far. With this new Sneak Peek, we have been told that Murder Miners X will feature a new armor design along with the ability to change your colors in a more advanced way the Murder Miners 1. “You’ll be able to change two colors on each armor piece instead of one, plus we plan to have custom user-made skins available for both armor and weapons.” I’m note sure about all of you reading this, but the term “User-made skins” has me very excited! Could this really mean the amount of customization we have only dreamed of?! We can only hope the same will be said about game types and map creation.
Speaking of map creation, we still have not seen or heard anything of Map Making Mode. Only that it will be made easier or faster to create maps. With this new Sneak Peek we see there’s now so type of place-able grass and possibly more types of vegetation that appears to blow in the wind. As well as some new dust particles, maybe other types of wind particles can be added such as snow or gas. We also got another look at some more ground textures like; rock, grass, sand and even some sort of stones. We also noticed the new skybox showing puffy white clouds and a bright sun on the horizon.
As for gameplay, we saw the usual stuff just like in the last Sneak Peek. However, at the very end of the video, just before the JForce logo appears. The green player that passes the camera man seems to perform a wall jump up the rock face. We have no confirmation on this yet, but we’re hoping that’s what we saw.
We’re all very happy to see the new work that has been done over the last few months and hope to see what JForce will continue to create in the future. Thanks for reading miners and good luck murdering!
